Role Job Description Key Skills & Qualification
Head, Internal Audit and Compliance
  • Monitoring and review of all daily postings to appropriate GLs in line with activities from Bank statements.
  • Ensuring compliance to all prudential requirements and CBN regulations, including the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act 1991 (as amended), Guidelines, circulars and other directives issued by the CBN from time to time.
  • Ensuring Periodic Returns (Quarterly) In compliance with the provisions of section 58[2]b of BOFIA 25, 1991.
  • Working with the Company’s External Auditors to ensure preparation to the shareholders a report on the annual financial statements of the company and every such report shall contain true and fair statements as to the matters and such other information as may be prescribed from time to time by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
  • Ensuring that the operations of the company conform with the law as well as to its internal rules and regulations.
  • Certifying that every fraud or attempted fraud is promptly reported to the Director, Other Financial Institutions Supervision Department
  • First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline. ACA/ACCA.
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in Audit and Compliance in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risks and control processes and procedures.
Head Business Development
  • Overseeing the sales team and ensuring delivery of assigned sales targets Identifying business opportunities and establishing relationships with the prospects.
  • Driving growth in quality risk asset creation and liability generation
  • Provision of quality service to clients in line with the company standards.
  • Designing a market penetration and customer retention strategy and making recommendations to the Board and Management
  • B.S.C in any related discipline. M.B.A/ professional qualification may be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Must be an avid team player who possesses excellent prospecting and negotiating skills, presentation skills with the passion to meet sales targets.
